NOAA recently released its Fisheries of the United States 2019 report and ports frequented by MTC vessels were once again among the most productive. Newport ranked 12th in the nation for pounds landed in 2019 with 122 million pounds of fish worth $58 million dollars coming across the docks. Astoria ranked 10th in the nation with 171 million pounds worth $45 million. Dutch Harbor was first with 763 million pounds worth $190 million, and Kodiak was third with 397 million pounds landed in 2019 worth $120 million.
