On May 10, 2022, individuals representing all aspects of the seafood industry rallied in Coos Bay, OR, to voice objections to the flawed process being used to determine the future of ocean use. Harvesters, processors, suppliers, fishing families, scientists, and consumers all joined voices to urge the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management to give commercial fishing interests and important fishing grounds due consideration as they consider our future fate.
